Each year the Maine Arborist Association offers one $500 college scholarship to a student enrolled in a Maine educational institution studying arboriculture or a closely related field.
Each applicant is required to compose a one page essay on a specific topic. The winner will be required to attend the annual meeting held in March and the essay will be published in the quarterly newsletter, The Log.
